"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit”

(Aristotle)

Born in Salerno, Italy, Paolo embarked on his pharmaceutical career by earning his Pharmacist (MPharm) qualification in 2005, with an experimental thesis published in the international journal "Bioorganic & Medicinal Chemistry Letters". He further broadened his qualifications with a Postgraduate Master of Science (Post-MSc) in Cosmetic Science and Technology, achieved with distinction in 2007 and publication of the experimental thesis in the international journal "International Journal of Cosmetic Science".

His academic pursuits allowed him to cultivate a keen interest in pharmaceutical chemistry, honing his laboratory and managerial skills. His university experience also provided opportunities to apply these skills in various event organizations.

Paolo’s postgraduate studies deepened his knowledge in cosmetic science and technology, equipping him with exceptional preparation skills. This led to the creation and development of numerous innovative formulations.

Drawing inspiration from the rich history and traditions of the Ancient Medical School of Salerno - his hometown - Paolo’s innovative research often reflects his roots. His academic journey is marked by several publications in international scientific journals and presentations at global scientific conferences.

In Italy, Paolo held significant managerial positions in various pharmaceutical companies, including pharmacy chain stores, pharmaceutical suppliers, and franchisors.

In England, he offered advanced pharmacist services to a range of independent pharmacies and large multiples. His roles included Pharmacist Store Manager for Boots UK and Pharmacy Lead in South and East Kent, where he guided and supported store managers and pharmacists to ensure excellent pharmacy operations and patient safety.

Paolo has been a facilitator for numerous NHS Community Pharmacist Consultation Service (CPCS) CPD sessions for community pharmacists across England, funded by Health Education England and conducted by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in collaboration with the Royal College of General Practitioners and CPPE - Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education.

As an Ambassador of Pharmacist Support, a charity dedicated to assisting pharmacists and their families during challenging times, Paolo takes pride in his contribution to the community.

After earning his PostGraduate certificate in Health and Social Care (PgCert), he's also an Independent Prescriber (IPresc), focusing on managing Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Plus, he's always looking to learn more and expand his scope of practice into additional areas.
Currently, he applies his expertise as a Clinical Pharmacist in Kent and the surrounding areas of South London. His dedication to enhancing healthcare and improving patient outcomes is evident in his work, reflecting his unwavering commitment to the field.
